Probably the most challenging book in the Bible to understand is the book of Revelation. This book contains the prophetic visions of Apostle John about the end times. One of the prominent and mind-boggling visions of John concerns the Seven Seals that he saw were opened by The Lamb of God, The Lord Yeshua-Christos Himself. Many Christian groups try to make sense about this order of events in the Seven Seals, but their interpretations only lead to countless of various interpretations that are misleading to people. All of those Christian churches, groups, preachers and apologetics interpret the Seven Seals in sequence – and they all fail to come up with a logical presentation.

What we will present here could be very unorthodox in comparison with all else because this understanding has not been given to the world yet. We will present the Seven Seals of Revelation in a REVERSE SEQUENTIAL ORDER! We are certain, with the guidance of The Holy Spirit, that the first Seal opened covers the last events; and in this reverses succession, the last or seventh Seal understandably covers the first cluster of events to happen. Based on this understanding, the continuum of this prophetic visions cover from the year 1918 all the way passed what many termed as the millennium or the thousand years of peaceful reign with The Christ in the Holy City; and up until the great war between The Son of God and His army of angels against satan and his deceived subordinates.

The Seals could understandably overlap each other. Let us understand that the Seven Seals' biggest significance was not the starting nor ending points but the events or series of events encapsulated in each Seal. With our interpretation of the Seven Seals to be in a reverse sequential order, this would lead us to the 7th Seal, the last one opened by The Lamb Yeshua Christos but the first series of events to happen.

Below is the logical order of the 7 Seals that would make sense, and the cluster of events seen by John in his vision as each Seal was opened by The Lamb. We do not claim PRECISION in our presentation as even the vision of John understandably still lacked the complete details of the actual events that will surely happen very soon. However, we believe that what we present here is the general series of events based on the recorded visions of John. Please also take note that some of the Seals overlap with each other in occurence.

Events encapsulated:

  • Silence in heaven for about half an hour (Rev 8:1) – fulfillment is the peacetime in between two World Wars, 1918 to 1939.

  • Sufferings of the Jews – fulfillment is the genocidal holocaust ordered by Hitler.

  • End of suffering – May 7, 1945.

  • Followed by solar eclipse – July 9, 1945, and lunar eclipses – Dec 9, 1945, June 14, 1946, Dec 8, 1946.

  • Salvation/Sealing of Christ happens.

  • Seven trumpets sounded by seven angels; two of three woes (Revelation chapters 8/9/11).

  • Six out of seven bowls of plagues (Revelation 15:1-2 / 16:1-16).

(Revelation 8:1)

1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

When The Lamb or The Lord Yeshua opened the Seventh Seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Which is this silence referred by John that signals the beginning of the Seventh Seal? To arrive at a definite time frame, let us first convert the apocalyptic ‘half an hour of silence’ into man’s equivalent time.

(Related reading: compare this with the Iglesia ni Cristo’s (1914) claim.

(2 Peter 3:8)

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

According to Apostle Peter, one thousand human years is equivalent to only one day to The Lord. Therefore, to get the half hour in The Lord’s time we have to divide 1,000 man years by 24 by 2. That would be 20.83 or 20 years and 10 months! What ‘silence’ or peace time in man’s history lasted for almost 20 years and 10 months?

Let us try the peace time between the First and Second World Wars. The First World War ended on November 11, 1918 while the Second World War started on September 1, 1939. That peace in between those two World Wars lasted for 20 years, 9 months and 13 days. This is about half an hour to The Lord and matched with the description of John. Therefore, the biblical start of the Seventh Seal could be pinpointed to begin on November 11, 1918 and not July 27, 1914 as the INC1914 group has been claiming (this is also an official INC1914 teaching).

The 7th Seal, which is the first in a series of apocalyptic events, ties up with the foretelling of Christ about the signs of times leading to the day of His return or judgment day:

(Matthew 24:6-9)

3 When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” … 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: 8 all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs.

The Lord Yeshua foretold about the signs of His coming and of the end of the age. These would include global wars, famines and earthquakes. This declaration of The Lord matches with the apocalyptic visions of John regarding the series of events encapsulated within the 7th Seal. As the beginning of the 7th Seal is the peace time between the two World Wars, its prelude must be the First World War. This is what Christ foretold as the wars that they will hear as it will be rumored or, in our contemporary term, ‘broadcasted’. The First World War (1914-1918) was the first massive war since the invention and commercialization of radio communications - as the radio was only invented about fifteen years earlier; thus, qualifying this war to be the ‘rumored war’ foretold by The Christ in Matthew 24:6.

After the prophesied time of about ‘half an hour of silence’ that signals the opening of the 7th Seal (from November 11, 1918 to September 1, 1939), another war that is also global in scope would take place wherein “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom”, also foretold by The Christ (verse 7). This global war would later be known as the Second World War that lasted from 1939 until 1946.

One significant prophecy of The Lord that could tie up with the Second World War was the tribulation that He foretold that His people, the Jews, will experience. This is different from the tribulation that was prophesied by Daniel (we will have a separate study on this) for in this prophesied tribulation, the Jews will be hated by many nations:

(Matthew 24:9-13)

9 “Then they will hand you over to be tortured and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. 10 Then many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

The Lord Yeshua prophesied about the torment and extreme bigotry that the Jews will experience because of The Lord’s name, His prophetical name Israel (Hosea 11:1). The fulfillment of this prophecy was the holocaust of the Second World War wherein six million Jews were killed. We can ascertain that the tribulation prophesied is the holocaust and not the one prophesied by the Prophet Daniel because of a related prophecy of The Christ about the celestial disturbances that will take place after this tribulation:

(Matthew 24:29a)

29 “Immediately after the suffering of those days

the sun will be darkened,

and the moon will not give its light…

As The Lord prophesied, the sun will be darkened (complete solar eclipse) and the moon will not give its light (total lunar eclipse) immediately after the suffering of those days or the holocaust (end of Holocaust). Let us see all of its fulfillment:

  1. Official surrender of Germany and end of holocaust – May 7, 1945

  2. Complete solar eclipse – July 9, 1945

  3. Total lunar eclipses – December 19, 1945 (80 mins) / June 14, 1946 (92 mins) / December 8, 1946 (58 mins)

(Revelation 7:1-3)

1 After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

Prior to 'the Lord’s wrath or judgment' day that will take place on the 6th Seal (Revelation 6:17), an Angel from the east who possesses the Seal of God was sighted by John, together with those who were sealed - all 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel; and the multitudes of Gentile followers who are also saved (Revelation 7:1-17). This Angel instructed four more other angels who were holding the four winds with the Power to destroy the world and mankind, to not yet inflict destruction on earth until the sealing of God’s servants were completed.

The Angel or Messenger with the Seal of God is the same Angel of God’s presence prophesied by Isaiah (Isaiah 63:9), and the fulfillment is The Lord Yeshua-Christos who represents the invisible God (John 14:7-9). He is the one given the Seal of God (John 6:27), and on His return, He will come from the east (Matthew 24:27). The four other angels represent the reapers on the day of judgment (Matthew 13:39), and the winds represent the Word of Christ being the Power that will judge the world (John 12:48). The act of sealing seen by John is the actual work of The Savior of saving the servants of God, the 144,000 Jews, as well as saving the multitude of Gentiles. When will this take place? Right before judgment is executed on the day of The Lord’s wrath (Revelation 7:3 – until we have sealed).

Therefore, before God's judgment is imposed on the day of The Lord’s wrath or judgment day, The Christ will have already saved His people or God’s servants first. And this judgment that brings the wrath of God will be executed by the words of The Christ, the same winds held by angels with the power of destruction (Revelation 7:1-2):

(John 12:48)

48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Prelude to the day of The Lord’s wrath in the 6th Seal are the seven trumpets sounded by seven angels that will bring destruction to the world and mankind. These seven trumpets sounded bridge the 7th Seal (first events to happen) to the 6th Seal. The first four trumpets sounded would destroy the a third of the world’s trees and vegetation, a third of the sea and its living creatures including a third of ships, a third of rivers and springs that causes death to many men, and a third of the sun and of the moon and of the stars darkening a third of these celestial bodies (Revelation 8:6-13).

When the fifth trumpet was sounded, the locusts from the bottomless pit swarmed the earth tormenting the inhabitants of the world. These locusts are demonic creatures led by the angel of the bottomless pit. This is the first woe of Revelation (Revelation 9:1-12).

When the sixth angel sounded the trumpet, the four angels bound on the Euphrates were released to bring destruction to a third of mankind. Within the events covered in the sixth trumpet sounded, John also saw a cavalry of 200 million riding on lion-headed horses. Fire, smoke and brimstones came out of the mouths of the horses, killing another third of mankind (Revelation 9:13-19 NRSV).

The seventh trumpet sounded signals the triumph of the Kingdom of God when God’s temple in heaven was opened up to be received by those who will inherit it (Revelation 11:15-19).

The events covered with the blowing of the seven trumpets by the seven angels happened at the transitory coverage of the 7th Seal to the 6th Seal, or from the first series to the second series of apocalyptic events in the Scroll Seals.

Also, enclosed in the 7th Seal (transitory to the 6th Seal) are six out of seven bowls of plagues that mirror the wrath of God unto the unsaved mankind:

(Revelation 15:1-2, 5-8)

1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.

2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God… 5 After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. 6 And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands. 7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever. 8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

(Revelation 16:1)

16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

The seven plagues contained in bowls to be poured out by seven angels are the last plagues to be suffered by man prior to the judgment of God being executed upon man. Six of the seven plagues are among the transitory events that bridges with the events that are included in the 6th Seal opening. The Six Plagues include:

1st plague - loathsome sores to those with the mark of the beast who worship its image

2nd plague - the sea turns to blood killing all its living creatures

3rd plague - rivers and springs become blood

4th plague - men are scorched with the sun’s great or immense heat

5th plague - darkness filled the kingdom of the beast and men suffers from pain

6th plague - the drying up of the river Euphrates and the coming out of demonic spirits to       the world to ‘gather them to the battle of that great day of The Lord God

  (Revelation 16:1-16)

Events encapsulated:

  • Seventh bowl of plagues (Rev 16:17-20).

  • Stars falling on earth (Rev 6:13 / Matthew 24:29).

  • Powers of heaven shaken.

  • Sky receding as a scroll; every mountain and island moved out of place.

  • Day of the Lord’s wrath or judgment day (Rev 6:14-17).

  • 1,000 years of peace.

(Revelation 16:17-21)

17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. 19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

The seventh bowl of plague signals the opening of the 6th Seal. This is well proven by the same events that will happen when the seventh bowl of plague will be poured out – a great earthquake like never had occurred in the past, the islands will move or flee away, as well as the mountains. The same are also mentioned in Revelation 6:12 and 14 quoted above.

(Revelation 6:12-17)

12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

The 6th Seal encapsulates the great day of The Lord’s wrath (verse 17), biblically rendered also as the day of judgment or the day of Christ’s return.

This portrayal of the events that will happen on the day of the Lord’s wrath (when the 6th Seal is opened) matches with the prophecy of The Christ describing the signs and events on the day that He returns:

(Matthew 24:29b-30)

29 … the stars will fall from heaven,

and the powers of heaven will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven’ with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Even the Apostle Peter has prophesied about this day:

(2 Peter 3:7, 10-12)

7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men… 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

The whole of Christianity believes that judgment day will take place at the end of the 7th Seal (the opposing end from the 6th Seal). The vision of John proves otherwise - that the day of The Lord's Wrath or judgment day will occur within the opening of the 6th Seal. This only proves the soundness of our exposition that the 7 Seals of Revelation has to be understood to happen in a REVERSE ORDER.

After all of God's people were already saved - as they are saved prior to the world's destruction (on the 7th Seal) - and the world and its remaining inhabitants were destroyed, the 1,000 years of peace will begin.

(Revelation 20:4-6)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Events encapsulated:

  • John's vision of the martyrs in Christ (Rev 6:9-11 / 20:4-6).

(Revelation 6:9-11)

9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

The vision in the 5th Seal does not show a series of events or happening but rather showed the martyrs of Christ who were given white robes and their cry for vengeance. This scenario seems to be a continuation of the tail scene of the 7th Seal when the other Angel who is The Christ is performing His work of saving the servants of God, those who are among the 144,000 sealed by The Christ and the multitudes of people from all nations, the Gentile followers who are all part of the First Resurrection (Rev 7:4,9-17 / 20:4-6).

When will this take place? This will take place right before judgment is executed on the day of The Lord’s wrath (Revelation 7:3 – until we have sealed). Therefore, on the day of The Lord’s wrath, The Christ will save His people or God’s servant first prior to the imposition of the final judgment.

As it is a historical fact, hundreds of thousands of The Lord’s believers have been martyred in His name, many were killed by the pagan enemies of the church while even more by the enemy church itself – the Roman Church through its edicts and the Papal inquisition.

Events encapsulated:

  • Horseman on a pale horse to kill those left on earth (Rev 6:7-8).

  • This will happen in conjunction with the 6th Seal - on Judgment Day.

(Revelation 6:7-8)

7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

The happening of the prophesied celestial events and elemental meltdown that will happen within the events encapsulated within the 6th Seal (Mat. 24:29-30; 2 Pet. 3;7, 10-12) will bring all kinds of panic and chaos in the world that all together shall become Death, the figurative horseman on a pale horse. This is the vision of John when the 4th Seal was opened, with Hades following him with an immense power to kill the remaining inhabitants of the earth, or in the words of the prophecy, over a fourth of the earth. What is represented by ‘over a fourth of the earth’? The land mass of the earth in proportion to its total size, with the bodies of water comprising almost three-quarters of it.

Note: This statement of John only proves that the Revelations and visions that he received were from The Lord Himself, otherwise, how could he had possibly known the fact that the earth is made up of over 70% water, making up almost three-fourths of the earth when this knowledge was not known until after the age of the New World after Magellan circumnavigated the world, some 1,400 years later.

Who are the rest of the world’s inhabitants who will be killed by Death, or the pale horse horseman, with all forms of death imaginable? They are those who were not made part of the First Resurrection - the people who were not saved by The Savior, The Christ who is also prophesied by John as the other Angel from the east:

(John 3:18)

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(John 12:48)

48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

All of the people who did not believe in The Lord Yeshua as The Christ and The Only Begotten Son of God are already condemned even before the day of The Lord’s wrath! And after The Savior has saved the people who are God’s servants (Revelation 7:3-17), the elect people of The Lord Yeshua-Christos (Matthew 24:31), then all those who are left in the world will be killed by Death, the pale horse horseman. We are certain that the killing by this horseman named death happens during Judgment Day - in conjunction with the 6th Seal - when all of The Christ's people are already saved.

Events encapsulated:

  • Horseman on a black horse with a scale for the justification of those not saved (Rev 6:5-6).

  • Second resurrection after Millennium or 1,000 years of peaceful reign (Rev 20:11).

(Revelation 6:5-6)

5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

When the 3rd Seal was opened, John saw a horseman on a black horse with a pair of scales bargaining for wheat and barley. This scene represents the moment when those killed by Death and all those who were not made part of the First Resurrection will be resurrected to face the great judgment throne of God:

(Revelation 20:5a-6, 11-15)

5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished… 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

When the dead who were killed by Death, including all the dead who were not part of the First Resurrection will be resurrected, they will also be given a chance to face the judgment throne of God showing that God is indeed righteous and just. The horseman on a black horse with a pair of scales will be present to witness this judgment of the all the dead who were not part of the First Resurrection. They will be judged according to their works as written in the books. The Book of Life will be opened but only to show to them how their names are not found in it. And because of this, then they will also be cast into the lake of fire with Death and Hades, or hell as mentioned by The Lord Yeshua (Matthew 10:28 / 25:46). This will be the fulfillment of the prophecy of David concerning the ungodly as they face God’s judgment:

(Psalm 1:5)

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Let us clarify the phrase ‘shall not stand in the judgment’ as mentioned by King David?

(Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary)

5. stand in the judgment—be acquitted. They shall be driven from among the good (Mt 25:45, 46).

(Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers)

Shall not stand. - Properly, shall not rise. Probably like our phrase, “shall not hold up his head.” Will be self-convicted, and shrink away before God’s unerring scrutiny, like the man without a wedding garment in our Lord’s parable (Matthew 22:12). The LXX. and Vulg. have “rise again,” as if with thought of an after state.

That the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment means that they shall not be acquitted (Jamieson, Fausset, Brown), and will be self-convicted and shrink away before God’s unerring scrutiny (Ellicott), or in the apocalyptic words of John, ‘cast into the lake of fire’.

Events encapsulated:

  • Satan unbound and gather up for battle with as many as the sand of the sea (Rev 20:7-10).

  • The 2nd Seal is concurrent with the 3rd Seal.

3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” 4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

In the opening of the 2nd Seal John saw a horseman on a fiery red horse with a great sword who was granted to take peace from the earth. Which could be this events enclosed with the 2nd Seal?

(Revelation 20:7-10)

7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The 2nd Seal covers the time after the thousand years of The Christ’s peaceful reign with God’s people. This is the same time when satan will be released from his prison and will mobilize the dead who are now resurrected for the final judgment (as seen by John in the 3rd Seal opening), who are as many as the sand of the sea. Who will defeat satan in the final battle that will take place after the thousand years of peace? This will lead us to the final battle, and God’s great leader as seen by John in the opening of the 1st Seal.

Events encapsulated:

  • The Christ on a white horse with His armies from heaven (Rev 6:1-2) defeating the beast and the false prophet casting them in the lake of fire (Rev 19:11-21).

  • The 1st Seal is concurrent with the 3rd and 2nd Seals.

(Revelation 6:1-2)

1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

When the 1st Seal was opened by The Lamb of God Himself, John saw a horseman with a bow and was given a crown on a white horse who went out conquering with one specific mission and goal – to conquer. Who could this crowned horseman be, as if He were a King, conquering on a white horse?

(Revelation 19:11-21)

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had[ a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”

19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

The horseman on a white horse was called Faithful and True (verse 11), with the title of King of Kings and Lord of Lords written on His robe and thigh (verse 16) – His name is called The Word of God. We cannot be mistaken on who the horseman on a white horse be, He is none other than The Lord Yeshua himself! He will lead the armies in heaven who are also mounted on white horses (verse 14). And His main weapon is the sharp sword that comes out of His mouth, the authority and power or government of God (Matthew 28:18 / Isaiah 9:6) that He possesses being The Word and Son of God.

In the end of this battle, the beast and the false prophet were captured and cast into the lake of fire, and together with the devil or satan "they will be tormented day and night forever and ever" (Rev. 20:10). What will happen with everyone else who were deceived by the devil? Although they also experienced the second death in the lake of fire (Rev. 20:15), however, they are the ones referred as 'the rest who were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse’, The Lord Yeshua-Christos. This will be their final death, in contrast with most of Christianity's view that they will also be 'eternally punished' in the lake of fire. What makes us sure that they will really die and completely vanish? The "birds were filled with their flesh" (Rev. 19:21).

This is the finalization of the continuum of events encapsulated in the Seven Scroll Seals. The first cluster of events envisioned by John that belonged in the First Seal scenario was indeed last in the chronological sequential order.

Revelation 9:12 mentions a total of three woes that will be experienced by mankind on or prior to the day of The Lord's wrath. However, there are only two that were explicitly mentioned by John. The first woe was experienced after the fifth trumpet was sounded off and the locusts came out from the bottomless pit with the power like scorpions in order to torment everyone who does not have the Seal of God for five months (Revelation 9:1-12). The second woe happened when the two martyred witnesses were resurrected after they were killed by the beast and their dead bodies were left in the street, and this record of events are enclosed in the sixth trumpet sounding (Revelation 11:11-14). But John was silent regarding the details of the third woe. Which could be the third woe as for sure this will also be experienced by mankind?

There are a couple of possibilities regarding the fulfillment of the third woe. It could be the seven bowls of plagues as a whole or any one of them, or the death brought about by the horseman on the pale horse in the 4th Seal, or the casting into the lake of fire for those who were not made part of the First Resurrection, or simply the torment of not being able to enter The Holy City to be united with The Christ and God. Once again, we are simply speculating and do not teach any specific one to be the third woe mentioned by John since he did not mention the details regarding this.

This interpretation of the Seven Seals being presented in a reverse sequential order may sound very radical and unorthodox as no one else ever understood them to be in this order. But only through this new revealed perspective can we fully understand a seamless and logical continuum of apocalyptic events that started at the end of the First World War in 1918 and up until the final battle between The King of Kings and satan.

Please feel free to compare our interpretation with everyone else’s and decide for yourself which among the many other interpretations of the Seven Seals from all Christian organizations and churches makes much logical and apocalyptical sense. If you can relate with the soundness of our presentation, may we ask you to help us disseminate this unraveling of evangelical truths that we uphold.
