The STANDARD question from the INC1914 camp against anyone who preaches but is not from their ranks is this:  WHAT IS YOUR RIGHT (Karapatan in Filipino) to preach the gospel? They emphasize on this so-called RIGHT TO PREACH and then drive the point that they are the only ones with this right based on their claims to the prophesies in Isaiah (41:8-16/ 46:11/ 43:5-6) as well as in Revelation 7:2-3.

Note:  Click on the hyperlinks and read how their claims to these prophesies are debunked and proven erroneous.

They were able to use this tactic to their advantage since other preachers had no intentions of proclaiming themselves but the Gospel of The Savior. They have mastered this diversionary tactic in such that when another preacher cannot provide any prophesies concerning himself the INC1914 minister would pound on him for not being an authorized preacher of The Lord’s Gospel.

The INC1914 basis in claiming EXCLUSIVE interpreter and preacher of God’s words is the statement of Paul, the self-proclaimed apostle and writer of most of the books in the New Testament. Here is his statement:

(Romans 10:15)

15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Let us be clear on this – the basis in their claim to be the exclusive preachers who have the right to preach is Paul and NOT The Lord himself. Later on we will present the relevance of this truth. What if their very basis in their claim was mistaken in his own claim? Then obviously, the claim of the INC1914 as well as others who does the same claim based on Paul’s statement crumbles down and gets flushed away.

The statement of Paul in Romans 10:15 is based on his erroneous claim of Isaiah’s prophesy. Let us analyze if his presentation of the prophecy is valid or misleading.

(Isaiah 52:7)

7 How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”

The SUBJECT in Isaiah’s prophecy is SINGULAR – Him who brings good news or the Gospel. Who is the prophesied Carrier or Messenger of the Gospel?

(Isaiah 52:13)

13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;
He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.

The Messenger of God’s good news is His Servant who shall be exalted and extolled very high. We know that the fulfillment of this is none other than God’s Son Yeshua whom God exalted by making Him Lord and Christ (Acts 2:36), bearer of His Authority and Government (Isa. 9:6/ Mat. 28:18/ Jn. 3:16/ Jn 5:22, 27), and bearer of His Divine Presence (Isa. 63:8-9/ Jn. 14:8-9). It is not Paul or anybody else!

How did Paul fit himself in this prophecy concerning the official Speaker and Messenger of God? When he quoted this prophecy, he changed the number of the subject from singular to plural – by changing the pronoun ‘HIM’ to the pronoun ‘THOSE’. And then he used the same prophecy that he tweaked as his badge in claiming to be the RIGHTFUL speaker also of God’s Word. He even further his claim by preaching ‘HIS OWN GOSPEL’, according to his own revelation of the mystery:

(Romans 16:25)

25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began …

It was already bad that Paul inserted himself in the prophecy to gain extra credibility as a preacher of the Gospel, it was worse when he started preaching his own gospel in his preaching of The Savior. Is this NOT ALWAYS the case of any cult who echoes the same spirit as Paul's? Don't they always end up their own version of The Lord's Gospel?

Why was Paul wrong in inserting himself in the prophecy for an added credential? To begin with, there is no need to flash a badge of authority in preaching about The Lord Yeshua-Christos. And that is according to The Savior himself:

(Mark 9:38-40)

38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”

39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is on our side.

The Lord Yeshua DID NOT FORBID ANYONE to do His work. In fact, He stopped Apostle John from forbidding anyone who uses His name in casting out demons even though he is not from their own ranks. Why did The Savior stop John? What is His general message on this issue? He said, “for he who is not against us is on our side.” Is this the same spirit of the INC1914? No! Their spirit is aligned with Paul who needed to USURP the prophecy for extra credential. Who else has the same spirit as the INC1914 who also confronted others who are doing the work of The Lord?

(John 1:19-24)

19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

20 He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”

21 And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?”

He said, “I am not.”

“Are you the Prophet?”

And he answered, “No.”

22 Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”

23 He said: “I am

‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Make straight the way of the Lord,”’

as the prophet Isaiah said.”

24 Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees.

The INC1914 ministers are not the first ones who confront other preachers for his supposed authority or right to preach while flashing what they believe as their own badge of authority. This was already the strategy of the Pharisees that they applied with John the Baptist! Why did Paul act like the Pharisees of his time?

(Acts 23:6)

6 But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, “Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee; concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged!”

Even years after preaching about The Savior, Paul remained a Pharisee! Isn’t this surprising? Yes, it is surprising for the majority of Christians who do not even take the time to read the Gospel books, but not for one who is familiar with Paul’s Pharisaic and judgmental outlook. And any cult group who is learned in the Pharisaic and judgmental ways of Paul vice the Way of The Savior would surely act the way he would.

We all know very well that The Son of God was given God’s Authority to speak on His behalf (Isa. 9:6/ Mat. 28:18/ Isa. 59:21/ Isa. 52:6-7, 13/ Deut. 18:18/ Isa. 63:8-9/ Acts 2:36 etc.). But how did The Savior relegate His work unto His disciples or follower? He has given them His work as a TASK – as a RESPONSIBILITY.

(Matthew 10:27-28, 32-33)

27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell… 32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

The Savior desires for all to confess or preach about Him! His desire to be confessed by everyone who follows Him is big that He warned those who deny Him - the people who refuse to confess or preach about Him - that He will also deny them to God, His Father. THE ONLY MESSENGER OF GOD WHO HAS THE AUTHORITY TO BE HIS SPEAKER, HIS SON YESHUA-CHRISTOS, COMMISSIONS ALL OF HIS FOLLOWERS TO PREACH ABOUT HIM AND HIS GOSPEL! How dare the cult preachers who try to stop and prevent anyone from preaching about The Savior and the grace of God?

May the minds of those who used to confront and intimidate others from preaching about The Savior be opened up, EPHPHATHA! You have the CHOICE TO BE LIKE THE SAVIOR and not be like the Pharisees or the Pharisaic Christian preacher, Paul. Stop using the same skillset like those once implemented by the same people who nailed The Savior on the cross:

(Luke 20:1-2)

Now it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him 2 and spoke to Him, saying, “Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?”
