(Malachi 4:5-6)

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
6 And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

Another prophecy claimed by Felix Manalo of the INC1914 group is that of being the prophesied Elijah whom God will send before the return of The Savior Yeshua on Judgment Day. We can directly disprove their claim on this prophecy by proving how Felix Manalo DIFFERED IN SPIRIT with the other Elijah whom The Savior himself certified. Whom did The Christ confirm to possess the spirit of Elijah?

(Matthew 11:11-14)

11 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.

The one who was sent to prepare the coming of God's Son into the world was John the Baptist (Isa. 40:3 / Mat. 11:9-11). This is unarguable since The Lord himself testified this about John the Baptist. How did Felix Manalo conflict in teaching with John the Baptist? Here is the biggest contradiction between John the Baptist and Felix Manalo of the INC1914.

Who did John the Baptist preach as the One who has the responsibility to do the following tasks that are done DURING HARVEST season, such as: THRESHING and WINNOWING THE CHAFF?

(Luke 3:16-17)

16 John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 17 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”

John the Baptist directly POINTED TO THE CHRIST as being the One who has the WINNOWING fan in His hand who will clean His THRESHING floor, gather the WHEAT and burn the CHAFF. What season is it when one does the work of threshing, winnowing, gathering of the wheat and burning of the chaff? It is of course in the season of harvest - NOT during planting! What prophecy is being fulfilled by this testimony of John the Baptist?

(Isaiah 41:15-16)

15 “Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth;
You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small,
And make the hills like chaff.
16 You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away,
And the whirlwind shall scatter them;
You shall rejoice in the Lord,
And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

The prophecy of Isaiah concerning the One who is made as an instrument for harvest to THRESH AND WINNOW THE CHAFF connects with the testimony of John the Baptist that pointed to The Savior as the prophesied Entity.

How could we say that Felix Manalo differed with John the Baptist, the second Elijah who already came (as certified by The Savior)? It is because rather than pointing to The Savior as the One who was prophesied in Isaiah 41 v15-16 to be God's instrument for harvest (and be of the same spirit as John the Baptist), he instead pointed to himself as the prophesied one. And this erroneous claim of prophecies has convinced many people to believe the wrong entity. For when was Felix Manalo ever commissioned TO DO THE WORK OF HARVESTING? Never! After all, who alone has that work and responsibility? Not any one else but The Savior Yeshua alone:

(John 5:22, 26-29)

22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son... 26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
