The Lord's Parable Series:
SEEK GOD'S KINGDOM FIRST
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Note: The Kingdom of God is the reign or rule of The Lord Yeshua-Christos with the authority or government of God (Isaiah 9:6 / Matthew 28:18 / Revelation 19:15-16), while His righteousness is His beloved Son as prophesied (Isaiah 42:6).

The Lord Yeshua desires that the people who want to follow Him must make it their highest or first priority to seek Him and His rule. He knows of the many worries and different priorities that beset people in order to survive. He also knows that focusing on those worries cannot solve any of man’s problem (Matthew 6:34), nor bring him closer to the attainment of salvation and eternal life – the very reason God commissioned Him to the world. For this reason, He offered man a solution that will take care of all his problems and existential necessities. An encouragement that comes with a promise, and if man will just strive to understand and joyfully fulfill The Christ will reward him with the solution to most of his daily worries. But why does The Lord want us to seek the Him and His rule first, and above all other priorities in life? Because even though His love and blessings are endless, the opportunity to benefit from them is limited, and here’s why:
22 And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?”
And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from’…
The time will come when, based on another parable of The Lord, the door of opportunity will be shut and it will be too late for people to come in to benefit from His grace. When will be that time? This will be the coming of the day of judgment or the time of our passing away, whichever comes first. For this reason, and out of compassion The Lord desires for us to seek Him first that He even guarantees that all of our needs will be given to us if we do.
With this understanding, would you be among those who will value the love and passion of The Christ unto all people and decide to seek and follow Him first and trust Him to bless us with all of our needs?
