Majority of ‘Christian’ churches believe in the ‘Trinity’ doctrine of God. The ‘trinitarian’ doctrine teaches that there are three diverging and yet converging persons of God, and they are; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Divergent because they are distinct and separate entities while at the same time convergent because they are one and the same. For such it is confounding that even the Catholic Church, the church who formulated this teaching starting in the third or fourth century, declared it officially a MYSTERY.

In reality, they are right about this doctrine being a MYSTERY, for how can The Father and The Son (the conjunction ‘and’ denotes adding and not multiplying) and The Holy Spirit equals one? But then again teachers of this mystery would rebound with a defense that this logic and equation does not apply to God. But of course it does, God is Himself the ultimate logic or intelligence! Although there may be some groups and scholars who dismiss the mystery aspect of the Trinity, the fact remains that this teaching could not be explained nor understood as it is.

In this study, we will bring this prevalent belief among Christ believers under the light of God’s words and Christ’s teaching and see if it can still hold some value after this scriptural comparison. At the end of this presentation, it is all up to you to decide whose side are you going to receive as ultimate truth...

The reality that man is created by God and chosen among His creations to worship Him (Psalm 100:1-5) only shows His divine purpose for him. However, mankind worships different gods and deities, with the universal reasoning that their worship points to the same Supreme Being no matter how He is identified. But is this reasoning acceptable to the true God?

(Jeremiah 9:23-24)

23 Thus says the Lord:

“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,

Let not the mighty man glory in his might,

Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;

24 But let him who glories glory in this,

That he understands and knows Me,

That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.

For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

This is what gives delight to The Lord God, that man UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS HIM! In fact, this is the only case of being prideful that He allows and even encourages. If so, then GOD COULD NOT BE A MYSTERY, and that the TRINITY (itself a mystery) COULD NOT BE GOD! For with Trinity, how can man understand something that is so designed to be not understood?

Who is best to educate man about God than His Begotten Son who truly knows Him the most?

(John 17:6)

6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

The Lord Yeshua-Christos have already manifested to those whom God gave Him the truth about God. In truth, this is one distinguishing mark of the true disciples of Christ - their knowledge about the true God. Who does Christ recognize and taught as the true God?

(John 17:1-3)

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

The Lord Yeshua recognized The Father AS THE ONLY TRUE GOD! How could any Bible scholar or preacher argue with that? How important is the knowledge and truth that The Father is the only true God? So important in such that it ties up with the desire and delight of God when man gets to understand and know Him. The Lord Yeshua declares “and this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Yeshua-Christos whom You have sent”.

Where is the mystery in the declaration of Christ? The Lord completely BELIES the teaching of the Trinity by introducing The Father as the only true God. Although He also taught that He is ONE WITH God (Jn. 14:10-11/ Jn. 17:21-23), however He never taught that He is ONE WITH GOD AS God.

The teachers of the Trinity, as well as those who believe that Yeshua is God, may present some verses in their vain attempt to continue with the lie of the Trinity teaching. However, let it be clear that not one of those verses that they will cite teaches about the truthfulness of the trinitarian doctrine, but are simply by-products of their misunderstanding of those verses.

The statement of God that shows His desire and delight in Jeremiah 9:23-24, as well as the declaration of The Lord Yeshua in John 17:1-3 are more than enough to give us the true understanding and knowledge about the true God, aren’t they? And if this truth and knowledge give eternal life, HOW CAN SOMEONE REFUSE?

The true disciples of Christ need no amount of influencing in order to see the truth in Him. They connect to the truth of The Lord right away the moment it is presented to them. May you have both the courage and humility to ask The Lord Yeshua wisdom to discern His truth from the world’s lies that are all fathered by him who is the father of all lies (John 8:44).
